The school had been quiet for sometime after the Winter Holidays, but it wasn't so bad. Some of the students were returning, and others...well others stayed at their homes. After giving birth, Mia had been allowed to wander around the school, but still not able to do her job.
The Assistant Nurse had specifically told Mia that she was not allowed to work but to spend sometime with her newborns. Twins..Mia thought to herself. She didn't expect two newborns at one time. Oh well, the pain was over, and Mia's swollen belly was no longer a swollen belly.
Mia had been wandering around the school with absolutely nothing to do. Just for kicks the Assistant Nurse had locked her office but not her bedroom where the babies were napping quietly during this time. If something had been wrong, Binky would notify Mia in a flash of pink smoke. During her 'break', she hadn't gotten any sleep since the twins were wild and cranky all night long. The cries could've been heard throughout the school, but that wasn't Mia's biggest concern.
Stumbling upon the Sun Parlor, she sighed heavily able to find a place to relax quietly and peacefully and hopefully, without disturbances.
About this time in mid-afternoon, the school had been dead quiet since almost every student was eating lunch. Not showing up at lunch would signify that Mia wanted to be left alone and being alone meant just by herself. Sitting in a chair, she crossed her legs in a business-like fashion as if she was reading a book, but simply, she stared into space thinking about the little problems that would soon become a huge problem.

Just as the Headmistress was absent from the dinner ceremonies was just how Tambashi felt about his duties. The Head of Sphynxscythe, however, held too much pride in his work. He found himself sitting beetween the Head of Basiliskfang and an empty chair, wondering just howg long he was going to have to put up with such a miserable meal.
True the meals between the Heads were usually akward, but with Amelia missing even the stream of chatter from Nealiala was absent. Tambashi glanced toward the head of Dragonheart and immediatley dismissed the idea of spurring on a conversation. Artrition had never been the one to talk either, but of late he'd become even more secluded. The other professors, what few of them there were, chatted among themselves at the two ends of the table framing the Heads of Houses.
When the silence and the worry finally got to him, Tambashi pushed his seat away from a plate of rearranged food, excused himself to his Co-Heads as manners suggested, and made a hasty retreat out the staff entrance to the hall. Wandering feet wouldn't let the man cloaked in his house color dining robes stand still. They pulled him to the Sun Parlor, subconsciously seeking out the solace of the plants.
The door swung open, pushed by Tambashi's demanding rough hands. In he came, in a swirl of color, already pulling off the extra layers. He expected to find no one as he stopped in the denser part of the parlor, the part where his plants thrived. With a heavy sigh, he tossed the extra linnens onto a chair leaving him in only a white undershirt and a pair of black pants as he leaned both hands on the lip to the table that held the tray of soil and plants.

As Mia was lost in her thoughts, someone entered the sun parlor as the door swung open hitting the back of the wall. Looking around, her green eyes searched to see who it was. Could it be a student? or Was it a Professor? Getting up from her seat, she perked her head from the plants and leaves to see who it was.
Immediately, she saw who it was and ducked back behind the plants burying her black hair. It was Tambashi above all people it was him. It had been a while since she talked to him because of her birth.
Peering through the green plants, Mia watched him work with his keen hands. It was rather quiet except for a few noises hear and there that came from Tambashi as he was working with his plants. Just exactly what was he doing here? Mia thought to herself. Shouldn't he be at lunch? Sighing, she thought it was best just to ask him. She tried straightening out her clothes, so she didn't look as messy or just look like she gave birth to two babies.
Walking around the huge stack of plants, Mia approached him timidly taking small and short steps. At first, she watched him at what he was doing with the plants. Finally, she said, "Hello Tambashi." Actually looking up at Tambashi, she said, "I thought I expected you to be at lunch with the other heads?"
